The State PIRGs New Voters Project
The New Voters Project, launched in 2004, is a nonpartisan effort to register young people to vote. This grant supports a set of voter registration experiments that tests which approaches most effectively register community college and urban non-residential college students.
Voter Registration Experiments
Women's Voices. Women Vote. seeks to increase the number of unmarried women in the electorate through direct marketing and consumer targeting. This grant supports voter registration tests to determine whether successes the organization had in registering women in 2004 can be replicated and enhanced in 2006.
