
Betsy Witten to join the JEHT Foundation

The JEHT Foundation is pleased to announce that it has hired Betsy Witten to be the Senior Program Manager for the Foundation's newly created Juvenile Justice Program, effective January 22, 2007. Previously, Ms. Witten worked at the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) as the Director of Education Initiatives, where she was responsible for the development of educational advocacy and program initiatives for court-involved youth. Prior to her work with CASES, Ms. Witten clerked for the Honorable Sterling Johnson, Jr. in the Eastern District of New York, and served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department's Affirmative Litigation Division. Ms. Witten is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia University School of Law.
